Sterilization indicator tapes

Self-adhesive sterilization indicator tapes.

Made of semi-crepe paper.

They can be applied to various materials such as plastic, metal, clothing, paper, cardboard, etc.

With high-adhesion adhesive, they offer good resistance to heat and humidity and are very difficult to tear.

They should not be used as sterilizer or sterilization process validators.

Code 191047

  • Individual adhesive tape with process indicator for steam sterilization (autoclave). Adhesive tape with a sterilization indicator that also serves as packaging adhesive.
  • The backing is made of durable, impregnated semi-crepe paper with high conformability characteristics.
  • The adhesive used, which leaves no residue upon removal, is of superior quality and is designed to withstand high temperatures and humidity. It also adheres perfectly to a wide variety of materials (sheets, metals, plastics, non-woven fabrics, cardboard, etc.). Lead-free chemical indicators are sensitive to various parameters of sterilization cycles.
  • The color of the print on the back of the tape changes from light green to medium-dark green as evidence of exposure to the steam-saturated sterilization cycle.

  • Individual adhesive tape with process indicator for dry heat sterilization (Poupinel method).
  • Adhesive tape with a sterilization indicator that also serves as packaging adhesive.
  • The backing is made of durable, semi-crepe paper impregnated with high conformability characteristics.
  • The non-adhesive exterior can be written on with standard pens or pencils.
  • The high-quality, silicone-based adhesive, which leaves no residue upon removal, is designed to withstand both high temperatures and humidity. It adheres perfectly to a wide variety of materials (sheets, metals, plastics, non-woven fabrics, cards, etc.).
  • The chemical indicators are sensitive to various parameters of the sterilization cycles.
  • The color of the print on the back of the tape changes from green to brown as evidence of exposure to the dry heat of the sterilization cycle. Complies with EN ISO 11140-1, Class 1 (process indicators)

Self-adhesive sterilization indicator tape.

Made of semi-crepe paper.

DESCRIPTION AND USE

  • Can be applied to various materials such as plastic, metal, clothing, paper, cardboard, etc.
  • With high-adhesion adhesive, they offer good resistance to heat and humidity and are very difficult to break.
  • Designed to verify which individual units have been exposed to ethylene oxide sterilization.
  • Also to distinguish between sterilized and non-sterilized units during storage.
  • The printed orange stripes turn yellow after ethylene oxide (EO) sterilization, according to the following specifications:
  • Exposure to 600 mg/L of EO and 60% relative humidity (RH) for 20 minutes at 54 °C.
  • Exposure to 600 mg/L of EO and 60% relative humidity (RH) for 25 minutes at 37 °C.
  • Total thickness: 0.11 +/- 0.01 mm
  • Adhesion: 4-5 N/cm
  • MD Elongation at break: 7%
  • This product complies with the requirements of ISO 11140-1:2005 for Class 1 process indicators for steam sterilization.
