120 ml urine container for vacuum tubes

For hospital and laboratory use as a container for the containment and transport of biological fluids from the human body (urine) for subsequent in vitro analysis.

Made of transparent polypropylene. Designed for use with vacuum tubes.

Hermetic yellow polyethylene cap with a molded inner sealing ring. It incorporates a cannula with an internal needle protected by a rubber cap and a transparent plastic aspiration nozzle. Includes a warning label to ensure proper use of the cap.

Wide matte band for sample identification, allowing writing with standard markers. The following information is printed on the band: Name, Number, Date. When the bottle is closed, the graduations will be affected by the cannula in the cap.

  • Code 408702: non sterile, supplied in bulk.
  • Code 408726: non sterile, supplied individually wrapped, printed with instruction for use, batch number and expiry date.
  • Code 408702.G: sterile and supplied in bulk; each container is marked with the batch number, the expiry date and the sterilization method.

Capacity without cap: 145 ml

Capacity with cap: 120 ml

Recommended volume: 60 ml

120 ml urine container for vacuum tubes.

Measures: 57 x 73 mm.

Instruccions for sampling:

1. Open the urine container and place the container and the cap upright on a clean flat surface (with the needle facing up).

2. Collect the middle of specimen, discarding the beginning and the end of the urine. Fill in the container to maximum the half part.

3. Close the container carefully in order to avoid touching the inner part of the container.

4. Give the urine container to the healthcare worke

Sample transfer process:

1. Remove the label placed on the cap to let off the canula.

2. Put the tube on the orifice with the cap facing down.

3. Advance the tube over puncture point to pierce stopper. The urine tube will be filled. Repeat if another tube is to be collected. Hold tube

in position until filled and remove tube from device.

4. Remove the tube when the sample aspiration is finished.

5. Replace the label again covering the orifice.
