Kit consisting of a container and a tube (408900.K or 4089910.K). For use in hospitals and laboratories as a container for the collection and transport of biological urine samples for in vitro diagnostic testing.

 

• Made of transparent polypropylene, it is designed for use with vacuum tubes.
• It features a yellow polyethylene airtight lid with a molded inner sealing ring.
• It includes a cannula with an internal needle, protected by a rubber cap, and a transparent plastic suction nozzle. A puncture risk warning label is included to ensure proper use of the lid.
• A wide matte strip allows writing with conventional markers for sample identification. It features the
• following (molded) inscription: Name, No., Date.
• Each kit is marked with the lot number and expiration date.

Tubes 408900.K and 408910.K

• During manufacturing, they undergo an air extraction process, which creates a controlled vacuum inside the tube. When the cap is pierced by the needle, the vacuum draws up to 9 ml of liquid without having to open the cap, both for introducing the sample and for extracting aliquots for analysis.
• Hermetic cap composed of two parts: an inner butyl cap and an outer yellow polyethylene cap. The double cap system prevents the formation of residual droplets when removing the needle from the rubber cap.
• Includes a label for sample identification. With a white background, it features a yellow transverse line to easily identify the tube as a urine tube. Printed with the batch, expiration date, CE marking, IVD, single-use symbol, sterile R, aspiration volume, manufacturer, and manufacturer’s reference.
• Label dimensions: 40 x 20 mm.
