Paraplast Plus Paraffin

Paraffin wax designed for use in histology: for fixing biological samples of human origin in cassettes, prior to their processing in the microtome.

Contains a small concentration of dimethylsulphoxyde for rapid infiltration into the tissues, reducing the usual infiltration time interval to a third.

Filtered twice: does not require filtering prior to use.

Melting point: 56/58 ºC.

Suitable for common solvents.
